I am Professor Marilyn T Deveaux
After 27 years of running a local dance school that has had a web-presence and overseas clients for 22 years, I have come to know what works and what doesn't for retention of studio clients for up to 15 years. Although they are very important it isn't just the original theatrical shows and recitals we debut each year, nor our occasional participation in dance competitions & global performance tours that fosters decade-long re-enrollments! It is those plus the opportunity for each dancer to challenge themselves every single year when they ascend into a higher VCC ballet level. That individual achievement of surpassing previous exam results garnered from our exceptional coaching is what sets VIRTUE dance training apart.

ClassesOur dedicated staff starts training the student in-studio, or at home, virtually, in the 4 aspects of the VCC ballet curriculum - ie positions, strength & balance, jumps, and artistry combination.
Exam Preparation Coaching intensifies until the student's readiness prompts the teacher to register them for the exam. Our office accepts the candidate's exam registration & books the judge.
AdjudicationNassau candidates are adjudicated live onstage in an exam concert before an audience. The videos of virtual candidates are judged either on demand, or in a virtual Zoom concert.
Awards
During the year-end awards ceremony is when Nassau candidates get their medals & certificates. Virtual candidates get theirs via mail from our office soon after their virtual adjudication.
